Ocal® Conduit Body, Type LR, 2 in Hub, 51 cu-in, 7, Aluminum, PVC Coated, Dark Gray, 8.3 in L x 4.25 in W x 3.2 in H
Features:
- The conduit body and cover are double coated with a nominal 0.002 in blue urethane on both the interior and exterior, before PVC coating is applied
- A minimum of 0.04 in PVC coating is bonded to the exterior
- Ocal® pressure sealing sleeves on all threaded hubs
- Ocal® conduit bodies are shipped with a cover and encapsulated stainless steel screws
- Bodies are designed with a flat back, allowing more cubic in capacity, the flat back also keeps the body more stable during installation, requiring fewer conduit straps
- Provide openings for making splices and taps in conductors
- Connect conduit sections
- Provide taps for branch conduit runs
- Make 90 deg bends in conduit runs
- Provide for access to conductors for maintenance and future system changes
- Covers are coated with a molded flange to seal the conduit body while the conduit body is molded with a flat surface on its opening to seal with the cover
- Act as pull outlets for conductors that are stiff, due to large size or type of insulation
