1 1/8" Mechanical Seal, EPDM - Banjo Corporation

The Banjo Corporation 35013E is a 1 1/8-inch mechanical seal designed for use with polypropylene pumps. Constructed with EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber, it offers broad chemical resistance, making it suitable for various applications. This seal is compatible with Banjo's 3-inch wet seal polypropylene pumps, such as the M350PEOW model, which features polymer components molded from polypropylene and EPDM seals. The tandem wet seal design of these pumps produces less wear, prevents seal breakage from high-pressure cleanouts, eliminates eight leak points, and works with natural system pressure to keep the seal intact. The typical operating speed is 3600 RPM, and the pumps are capable of handling occasional solid particles up to ½ inch in diameter. The maximum self-priming height is 25 feet (7.6 meters) for the hydraulic version and 28 feet (8.5 meters) for the standard version.
