Harris® Brazing Flux, Series: Stay-Silv®, 1 lb, Jar, Chemical Composition: 15 to 25% Water, 50 to 75% Potassium Borates, 10 to 20% Potassium Fluorides, 1 to 3% Boric Acid and 1 to 3% Boron, 1050 to 1700 deg F Brazing, Black, Applicable Materials: Copper and Copper Alloys, (Except Aluminum Bronze), Steel and Other Ferrous Base Metal

Features:

• High-temperature, all-purpose black flux for silver brazing
• Formulated for applications where the work is subjected to rapid, localized heating
• Ideal for applications where large amounts of refractory oxides may form
• Use with stainless steel, carbide, heavy parts, prolonged heating cycles
• Use Stay-Silv® Black Flux on heavy parts, where localized overheating may occur and where parts are heated over a prolonged period, Stay-Silv® Black flux is also suggested when brazing stainless steel
