The John Blue PSP-3240 is a 2-inch self-priming centrifugal pump designed for agricultural and industrial applications. Constructed with a polypropylene body, Viton® seals, and a 316 stainless steel impeller shaft, it offers excellent chemical resistance. The pump features a double wet seal assembly, allowing it to run dry without causing seal failure, and a Vac-U-Seal impeller that improves efficiency over time as the impeller wears. It is available in various configurations, including engine-mounted and electric motor-mounted versions, and can be coupled to engines with a 3/4-inch keyed shaft. The pump is fully assembled from the factory, ready to be attached to a power source immediately. Key specifications include a maximum flow rate of 200 gallons per minute (gpm), a maximum pressure of 45 pounds per square inch (psi), and a required horsepower of 5 HP. The pump has 2-inch female NPT (FPT) inlet and outlet ports and includes a 1-inch FPT pressure access and a 1/2-inch FPT drain port. Optional accessories include a screw-in 220 flange adapter and a base rail kit for mounting. The pump is suitable for transferring liquid deicing products, providing faster results and working in lower temperatures compared to dry salt products. It is also compatible with various other applications requiring chemical resistance and durability.
