The John Blue DP-407.2 High-Pressure Diaphragm Pump is engineered for demanding applications such as boom sprayers, poultry house washers, and industrial machinery. Its four-diaphragm design ensures balanced operation and efficient liquid distribution. Constructed with anodized aluminum fluid end-housing components and stainless steel valves featuring a unique spherical section design, the pump offers enhanced durability and sealing performance. The diaphragms are made from chemical-resistant elastomers, extending the pump's service life even when handling aggressive agricultural and industrial chemicals. Additional features include a visual oil tank for easy monitoring, easily serviceable check valves, and a reduced crankshaft stroke to minimize diaphragm stress. The integrated pulsation damper system effectively reduces vibrations, contributing to smoother operation. The pump is designed to handle a maximum flow rate of 40.7 GPM, a maximum pressure of 725 PSI, and operates efficiently at up to 550 RPM. It requires a 1-1/2″ suction hose and a 3/4″ NPT discharge hose. The maximum operating temperature is 140°F, and it utilizes 30 SAE lubricating oil. The pump weighs 79 pounds and features a through shaft with 1-3/8″ spline on both ends. Optional models include the DP-407.2-GRI, which includes a gearbox for 1″ shaft engines and the SC-1580-1 regulator, and the DP-407.2-VP, which has a 35mm input shaft for use with the DP-321054 gearbox reduction kit.
