Hercules® Primer, Low VOC Professional Grade, 1 gal Container, For Use With: All Classes and Schedules of CPVC, PVC Pipe and Fittings, Purple
Features:
- Removes surface dirt, grease and grime as well as softens the pipe surface to allow a fast, secure solvent weld
- Purple tint ensures piping has been primed prior to solvent cement application
- Recommended application temperature -15 deg F and 110 deg F
- All Oatey® solvent cement and primer products are certified to UL Greenguard Gold
- To soften and prepare surface of PVC pipe and fittings
- Use caution purple primers contain a dye which is difficult or impossible to remove

For use in areas where plumbing code calls for verification that a primer be used
