The CDS-John Blue NGP-8055-DRF is a double piston, double acting piston pump designed for precise liquid application in agricultural settings. It offers a maximum flow rate of 42 gallons per minute (GPM) and operates efficiently at a maximum pressure of 120 pounds per square inch (PSI). The pump features a variable stroke mechanism, allowing for independent adjustment of each piston, which is particularly beneficial for applying two different products simultaneously. It is equipped with 1-1/2 inch female pipe thread (FPT) inlet and outlet ports, facilitating easy integration into existing systems. The pump operates at a maximum speed of 450 revolutions per minute (RPM) and utilizes a No. 50 roller chain drive system. For lubrication, it requires SAE 90 gear oil in the crankcase and multipurpose grease for the grease zerks. The wetted components are constructed with Viton piston packings and Buna O-rings and rod packings, ensuring compatibility with liquid fertilizers having a pH greater than 5 and standard herbicides. This design ensures consistent application rates regardless of temperature fluctuations. The NGP-8055-DRF is also available with various clutch options, including manual, hydraulic, and electric clutches, providing flexibility to meet different operational requirements.
