The John Blue DP-448-P is a self-priming diaphragm pump designed for efficient liquid transfer in agricultural and industrial applications. Its double wet seal assembly allows for dry operation without damaging the seals, and the closed impeller design improves efficiency over time as the impeller wears. Constructed with a polypropylene body, FKM and Viton seals, and a 316 stainless steel impeller shaft, it offers excellent chemical resistance. The pump can be driven by PTO, electric motor, or gasoline engine, and features a 2-inch suction hose diameter and a 1-inch NPT discharge hose diameter. Maximum specifications include a flow rate of 44.9 GPM, pressure of 218 PSI, speed of 550 RPM, and power of 6.5 HP. The recommended control unit is the SC-2660-3. Weight is 58 lbs. Diaphragms: 4.
