The John Blue 116044-91 BAR MNT HYD DRIVE ASSM is a hydraulic drive assembly designed for mounting on bars, featuring Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control and a bypass function. This assembly is compatible with various John Blue piston pumps, including the NGP-4055-HYF, NGP-6055-HY, NGP-6055-HYF, NGP-7055-HY, and NGP-9055-HY models. It offers a compact and cost-effective solution for variable rate piston pump drives, allowing for quick and stable adjustment to application rates within milliseconds. The assembly includes a sturdy mounting bracket that attaches to the side or top of the machine's bar, and it supports two types of flow control valves—servo or PWM—based on the selected kit. Additionally, a hydraulic 2-way bypass valve enables the pump and liquid flow to be turned on and off. The hydraulic motor requires 10 GPM to operate the piston pump at maximum RPM, but the system can function at lower GPM as needed for specific applications. The manual speed drive system allows for remote mounting of the drive, providing flexibility in pump placement and speed control. The assembly is designed to be compatible with various controllers, including those from Precision Planting®, Dickey-John®, and Micro-Trak®, through the use of bracket-only kits.
