Details

The 11" - 16" Telescoping Basin Wrench by General Tools is an essential tool for plumbing professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike. This adjustable wrench features a telescoping design that extends from 11" to 16", allowing for easy access to tight spaces under sinks and basins. Constructed from durable materials, it ensures a secure grip on nuts and bolts, making installation and removal tasks efficient. The wrench is designed to fit various sizes of fittings, making it versatile for different plumbing applications. Its compact size when collapsed makes it easy to store and transport.

Basin Wrenches provide access to faucet nuts that are sandwiched between the sink basin and wall. The wrench’s ratcheting head pivots up to 90 degrees to allow contact with the nut in even the tightest situations. The spring-loaded jaw mechanism provides one-handed ratcheting for effortless installation and removal. This item is equipped with a sliding t-handle to increase leverage and avoid contact with the wall or pipes. Extendable handle adjusts from 11” to 16”.

• Total Length – Extends from 11” to 16”

Instructions:
The head of the basin wrench needs to be positioned in a specific angle for proper use. The grip strength of jaws is applied when the tool handle is turned toward the back of the jaws. The ratcheting feature occurs when the tool handle is turned toward the front of the jaws.

For removal of basin nuts, position the wrench head at a 90 degree angle and turn counterclockwise. You should be turning the tool toward the back of the jaws. If not, flip the head to the other side.
