Cleanfit Thread Sealing Tape, 3-Wrap Waterline, 260 in Roll Length, 3/4 in Width, 0.004 in Thickness, 1.5 g/cu-cm, -450 to 500 deg F, 4347 psi, PTFE, Red
Features:
- Just 3 wraps for leak-proof joints
- Pink color pigment
- Greater than 100% elongation
- In tests conducted by an independent laboratory Mill-Rose 3-wrap red waterline seal tape was found to seal fittings carrying water at pressures up to 4347 psi or 30000kPa when applied as per instructions
- -450 to 500 deg F (-268 to 260 deg C) PTFE is completely stable up to 500 deg F or 260 deg C
- Decomposition is slow up to 750 deg F or 400 deg C
- Decomposition will occur on contact with naked flames
- 10 to 17 N/mm-sq tensile strength
- 99% PTFE less than 1%
Applications:
Use on pipe made from galvanized steel iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, CPVC, ABS and fiberglass
