- SAF-XT housing also incorporates a better grease purging/sealing system for extra protection of the bearing in a hostile environment
- SAF-XT pillow block has only one grease fitting
- Bearings with costly, comparably effective auxiliary seals have up to three grease fittings
- Single fitting speeds up lubrication, reduces chance for voids
- Complete fill, bearing action and configuration of reservoir assure maximum purging effectiveness
- Grease relief channels result in self-centering positive contact seal and these factors make SAF-XT blocks easy to lubricate
