RectorSeal No. 5® Pipe Thread Sealant, Multi-Purpose, Tube, 1-3/4 oz, Composition: Diacetone Alcohol, Yellow, Mild, 20 to 140 deg F, 1.38 Specific Gravity, 150 deg F Flash, 23 % VOC, Bonds To: Galvanized Steel, Iron, Brass, Copper, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Polyethylene, Reinforced Fiberglass and PVC Pipes

Features:

• Lubricates and protects threads
• For use with potable water (hot/cold)
• Soft setting, slow drying and will not dry out in the can
• Immediate pressurization on pipe up to 2 in at 100 psi
• Lead-free and contains no other metals
• Permits easy break out with no damage to threads
• Brushable from 20 to 140 deg F, for pressure up to 12000 psi (liquids) and 2600 psi (gases)

For pipe carrying acids, dilute, ammonia-gas-liquid, diesel fuel oil, hydraulic oils, inert gases, refrigerants, gasoline (leaded and unleaded), cutting oils (low aromatic) and more
