Features:
- Plastic lined nipple is ideal for connecting two dissimilar pipe and fitting materials, such as red brass or bronze, with black and galvanized steel or malleable iron
- Designed to reduce galvanic and stray current corrosion by isolating the dissimilar connection from the media flow
- Durable, welded schedule 40 nipple and PEX plastic liner are permanently bonded together
- Pex liner's edge extends onto the front edge of the nipple's ends, assuring complete isolation from the water at the connection
- Carbon steel body material, cross linked polyethylene (PEX) plastic insert material
- Naturally lead free
- Not recommended for connection with stainless steel fittings or pipe
- Suitable for low pressure steam applications only, not exceeding 10 psi
