Principles of Operation
The Evolution 5000 Series Universal Truck Charger is attached to the
firefighting vehicle and is connected to the vehicles electrical
system. The Evolution 5200-Series TIC is mounted and connected to the
Truck Charger and is held secure with mounting straps. MSA Cameras
equipped with either the Video Transmitter or MSAs new Video Capture
System can be charged without having to remove either module. The
Li-ion batteries are then charged while vehicle is running.

A vehicle-mounted system designed to charge the Li-ion battery
contained within the Evolution 5000-Series thermal imaging cameras
(TICs) while the TIC is mounted to the vehicle. Your Evolution
5000-Series TIC will now be more easily accessible and ready for use
when time is of the essence. Also available is a camera-mounting
bracket which allows you to mount the TIC to the bracket but does not
provide an electrical charge.
The Universal Truck Charger can be ordered as a stand-alone unit or
part of a new TIC/Truck Charger kit.
