Features:
- 99 percent PTFE < 1 percent composition
- 10 to 17 N/sq-mm tensile strength
- Pink pigment color

- For pipe made from galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, CPVC, ABS and fiberglass
- Pressure rating in tests conducted by an independent laboratory Mill-Rose 3-wrap red waterline seal tape was found to seal fittings carrying water at pressures up to 4347 psi or 30000 kPa when applied as per instructions
- Note: pressure ratings are relative to the quality and torque of the fittings and the amount of tape used
- Temperature range: -450 to 500 deg F PTFE is completely stable up to 500 deg F or 260 deg C, decomposition is slow up to 750 deg F or 400 deg C, decomposition will occur on contact with naked flames
