Sioux Chief VacuRester™ Vacuum Breaker Arrester, 1/2 in Nominal, MNPT, 350 psig, 1 to 4 Fixture Unit Capacity, 250 deg F, Copper Body, EPDM O-Ring, 6-1/2 in L x 1-3/8 in W

Features:

  • Unlike atmospheric vacuum breaker device that can leak or spin, the VacuRester's closed atmosphere chamber serves as a short duration vacuum breaker without the chance of leak
  • Recommended by Kohler Company for their high flow tub valves such as their SOK series fixtures
  • Installation for high flow tub valves with long spout tubes, install 652 AD VacuRester on spout tube, in between tub valve and spout, within one foot of the tub valve for high flow shower valves, install 652 AD VacuRester on shower risers, in between shower valve and shower head, within one foot of the shower valve
  • 2.900 psig burst tested
  • Pipe sizes 1-1/4 in thru 3 in, install 657-FD
