- Series 8 is tested and certified under ANSI A112.1.3 (ASSE 1011), which precludes use under continuous pressure, this valve should only be used in areas where spillage of water will not cause damage
- Device should only be installed on approved sill cocks containing at least four full threads
- Non-removable once installed
- Designed to prevent the backflow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply
