Bigbinder band is available in 201 stainless for heavy duty clamping applications. When added strength is needed, use a double wrap, threading the band through the buckle twice.201 Stainless SteelType 201 is a chromium-nickel-manganese alloyed stainless steel. In the annealed condition this grade has excellent mechanical properties and strength. Due to its high work hardening rate, it possesses uniform elongation for improved stretchability for severe forming applications such as strapping bands and preformed hose clamps.
