O-Z/Gedney Cable Support, Type K, 2 in, Threaded Mount, For Use With: RMC, IMC and EMT Conduit, Ductile/Malleable Iron, Hot Dipped Galvanized, 3-3/8 in Dia x 3-1/8 in H
Features:
- Horizontal or inverted one or more wires indoors at all voltages
- Use with all types of insulations at all voltages
- The design of this support is similar to the Type R except that is it is equipped with a locking collar which securely holds the pOZi-grip™ wedging plug in place
- This permits the support to be installed in any position and provides holding force against pull in either direction
- If mounting on a non-metallic/non-grounded conduit, a Lay-In-Lug™ grounding lug should be mounted on cable support body
- For PVC conduit, use a PVC terminal adapter
- Locking style tapered body
- 18 to 8 AWG, 6 to 1/0 AWG, 2/0 to 4/0 AWG, 4/0 AWG to 750 kcmil (aluminum/copper clad aluminum/copper) conductor
- 1 to 4 same size wires
- Cable support plugs will not be supplied undrilled
Applications:
For supporting non-armored electrical cables in conduit and indoor, threadless RMC, IMC or EMT, the body can be attached to the male threads of a set screw or compression connector
