Principles of Operation
MSA Sordin Supreme Pro hearing protection headsets, with pass-through
microphone for enhanced face-to-face communications below 82 dB, shut
off to protect hearing at noises above 85 dB. Ideal for protection
from impact noises such as gun shots. Impedance matching push-to-talk
(PTT) box allows clear radio/intercom communications.
Headset is waterproof; water-resistant when used with push-to-talk as
a radio integration system.

The Modular Integrated Communication Helmet (MICH) Ranger
Communication System is an unobtrusive microphone/sound transmission
system that provides interface capability with various military and
other radio transceivers and intercom systems. MICH Systems can be
worn alone or under MSA's ballistic Advanced Combat Helmet (ACH).
Preferred by U.S. Special Forces, the MICH Ranger Communication System
is reliable, easy to use and durable and can be configured for single
or dual radio/intercom communications.
MSA's MICH Systems have been field-tested and proven under the most
strenuous combat conditions.
