Cleanfit Thread Seal Tape, 3-Wrap, 260 in Length, 1/2 in Width, 0.004 in Thickness, 0.7 to 0.825 g/cu-cm, -450 to 500 deg F, 4347 psi, PTFE, Yellow
Features:
- 99 percent PTFE < 1 percent pigment composition
- > 100 percent elongation
- 10 to 17 N/sq-mm tensile strength
- Certified to comply with the provisions of A-A58092 (ASG), UL listed 31RO, Australian gas Association (AGA) 3226
- Pressure rating: in tests conducted by an independent laboratory Mill-Rose 3-wrap yellow gas seal tape was found to seal fittings carrying natural gas at pressures up to 4347 psi or 30000 kPa when applied as per instructions
- Note: pressure ratings are relative to the quality and torque of the fittings and the amount of tape used
- -400 to 500 deg F PTFE is completely stable up to 500 deg F
Applications:
Ideally suited for natural gas, propane and butane lines, Use on pipe made from galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, CPVC, ABS and fiberglass and Do not use Gas Thread Seal Tape on oxygen systems
