Features:
- Brass components conform to ASTM B62 and ASTM B584, UNS C83600 85-5-5-5 (latest revision)
- Upper section made of 1 in steel pipe telescope up and down within the base casting by 12 in
- Curb box without rod
- When stationary shut-off rods are furnished with curb boxes, they are 18 in shorter than maximum extended length of curb box
- All curb boxes telescope 1 ft
- Upper sections are held in the desired position by a strong clip ring located inside the top of the base casting
- A swedged lug at bottom of upper section fits into a cast slot in the base casting to prevent upper section from turning when removing lid or pentagon plug
- For 1 in inverted plug curb stops and 1-1/2 in and 2 in ball curb stops
