Bonderite® Acheson™ Graphite Forging Lubricant, Series: P3 Forge® 345, 5 gal, Pail, Black, Liquid, 1050 cPs Viscosity Index, 9.6 Specific Gravity, Composition: Graphite, 7 to 9 pH
Features:
- BONDERITE® L-FG 345™ graphite forging lubricant acheson is a water soluble semi synthetic lubricant used for hot forging steel parts
- The product is a very dark water based dispersion of graphite designed to provide excellent die adhesion, which assists in metal flow and prevents parts from sticking to the die or the punch
- P3 Forge® 345 can be used in a flood or spray application
- The product contains extreme pressure (EP) additives and release agents that will extend die life
- This product can be used for most hot forging operations, from very light draws to the most severe deformation
- Mechanical, hydraulic and transfer press use is acceptable
- The graphite used in P3 forge 345 is "natural graphite", milled to a fine particle size to enhance lubrication during hot forging
- Surfactant odor
- < 1 % VOC content
