DIRECTIONS FOR USE OPENING CLOGGED DRAINS: Remove drain strainer sieve and/or standing waterfrom drain and drainage area. Add 2 oz. (4 Tbsp.) of OPEN WIDE directly to drain. Allow to work for at least 15 minutes or even overnight. Flush with hot water. If system is not completely restored, repeat application 1 time only. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND ODOR CONTROL: Once a week remove drainstrainer sieve and add 1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) directly to drain. Let stand for at least 1 hour before reusing drain. Flush thoroughly with hot water until clear. This will keepdrains free flowing, clean and odor free. BOWL CLEANER AND DEODORIZER: For stains in toilet bowls, add 1 oz. (2 Tbsp.)directly to standing water. Scrub with a brush. Let the chemical action work for 15 minutes. Flush twice. For hard to remove stains, repeat application. Restores drainage in clogged or sluggish drainfields or cesspools. Detoxifies, drainsand deodorizes stagnant drainage areas, enhancing conditions for aerobic bacterial growth. Oxygenbased foaming porosity restorer and cleaner formulated to open clogged gravel beds, surrounding cesspools, seepage pits, drywells, and drainfields. Freeflowing andselfdispersing dry crystalline form of hydrogen peroxide, which breaks down into nontoxic, nonpolluting byproducts such as oxygen, water and naturally occurringminerals. DIRECTIONS FOR USE RESIDENTIAL SYSTEM RESTORATION: AIDOx must be added directly to the drainage area. Foran average residential system (with a 1,000 gallon or less tank and corresponding drainage area) a total of four 1gallon containers will be required. CESSPOOLS, SEEPAGE PITS, AND DRYWELLS: Any floating surface mat andbottom sludge should first be pumped out. The water level in the vessel should

be at least twothirds full before adding AIDOx. AIDOx will clean only the areasbelow the water level, such as the sidewalls where most drainage takes place. Use one container each day for three days. A noticeable drop in the water level is oftenseen during this period. On the fourth day add a portion of the fourth bottle corresponding to the level of water in the tank. EXAMPLE: If the tank is halfempty,use a half bottle of AIDOx. Add similar amounts on following days until the last bottle of AIDOx is finished. DRAINFIELDS AND BED SYSTEMS: AIDOx may be added to standing water inthe distribution box of drainfields or to the main line leading into the header manifold or main outlet of a septic tank in bed systems. For faster more effectiveresults pump excess water from drainage areas first. For drainfields divide the contents of one container between the laterals. Using a 3'' diameter stand pipeand street elbow inserted into one lateral at a time add AidOx. For both drainfields and bed systems use water to flush the powder through to the drainage area. Repeat the procedure for two more days. Beginning on the fourth day, use one quarter of a bottle of AIDOx each day for four more days. Wait at least one weekbefore adding any starter bacterial products. Severely clogged systems may require a second treatment. Allow the first treatment to work for at least twoweeks before deciding if a second treatment is necessary.

NOTE: Inaccessible laundry drywells can be treated by slowly adding AIDOx intoa drain leading directly to drywell. Use a sufficient stream of water to carry the powder down the drain. Inaccessible drainfields can be treated by adding AIDOxthrough a clean out past the septic tank, or by using a funnel and hose inserted in the tank outlet. Flush through with water. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE: Marginal or older, sluggish systems can be maintained in good working order with a periodic dose of AIDOx. For residential systems, add a halfgallon of AIDOx directly to the drainage facility once or twice ayear as needed. The installation of a standpipe with a removable lid will make periodic treatments more convenient. COMMERCIAL AND MUNICIPAL SYSTEM RESTORATION: Calculate the Daily Treatment Requirement (DTR) in gallons by adding the capacity of the septic tank or cesspool plus daily water usage.

Add a halfpound of AIDOx for each 100 gallons of DTR for three consecutivedays. Follow with 1 pound per day for every 1,500 gallons of DTR for 20 additional days. Example: A commercial system with 5,000 gallons of DTR requires 25pounds per day for three days followed by 3 pounds per day for twenty days. Refer to the RESIDENTIAL instructions for areas to add product and for pumpingrequirements. PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE: Sluggish systems can be kept in good workingorder with a periodic dosage of AIDOx. Use one 9 pound bottle for 2,000 gallons of DTR once or twice a year as needed. The installation of a standpipe with aremovable lid will make periodic treatments convenient.
